Ciao! My name is Giuseppe, and I’m the youngest member of the Romondia family – a family which has been busy making people happy for fifty years!
Half a century has passed since my mum, Antonietta, and my dad, Mimi, opened our family pastry shop in Vico del Gargano; a pastry shop and ice-cream parlor, destined to become one of most highly acclaimed “pasticcerie” in Gargano (Bar Gelateria Pasticceria Pizzicato has been listed in the highly authoritative Gambero Rosso gastronomic guide for years).
From baking cakes to making beds. After the success of the bar, opening a B&B seemed like a natural progression. I personally managed the project, giving particular emphasis to both the environment and… the social networks!
In 2012, the B&B’s twitter account was awarded first prize by the BTO Educational: an association which promotes research, innovation and education in tourism.
